TV/Radio Personality Free to Host Three16 Music Group Showcase

This experience will provide Music, Prize Giveaways and Special guests

New York, NY – July 6, 2010– The second annual Three16 Music Group Showcase is destined for greatness at New York City’s Highline Ballroom on Thursday, July 15, 2010. Hosted by TV/Radio Personality Free, it is brought to you by Monster Energy Drink. The showcase will feature Pop/Rock Artist Lauren Legato, R&B trio L.I.E, and R&B singer Takemia Haze.

Lauren Legato, a Long Island native, is one of those all too rare artists that arrives on the scene as a total package possessing a unique and exhilarating “it” factor that is simply undeniable. Her girly remix to Justin Bieber’s “Baby” attracted the attention of world-renowned Swiss watchmakers, Audemars Piguet, and earned the singer/songwriter a coveted position performing for the company’s 2010 After School All-Stars Gala. Hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lauren had the opportunity to perform one of her most popular singles, “Director,” for music industry insiders.

Complementing Lauren Legato will be R&B trio Lost in Eternity best known as L.I.E  out of New York. Not the traditional R&B vibe, these New York artists bring a hip hop sense to R&B. Singers, Justin aka Leaks, Dennis aka Roc4ya, and DeShaun bring a heartfelt intensity in their music. LIE has a pop, hip hop, rock, and R&B medley that fuse perfectly into an incredible sound that will stir various emotions through their music. Fresh faces, young swag, and natural talent are the defining elements that set this group apart from any other. Performance-wise this group embodies swag and fun. Young in age, mature in spirit, they put on a show that is entertaining and unforgettable. It captures a fantasy, futuristic, and nearly impossible experience that can only be felt through imagination. One listen and you feel the urge to celebrate.

Freshest sensation, Takemia Haze will be rounding out the lineup. Haze is a bright young R&B/Hip-hop artist out of Brooklyn, New York. Her powerful yet soothing voice demands a positive response from the crowd. Another hidden side of Haze is her edgy alter ego “Sukie”, which she describes as the “Hip-hop side of me”. Looking up to artists such as Toni Braxton, Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z, Stevie Wonder, Faith Evans, and more, Takemia Haze is ready to make her mark around the world and in music history.

Last year’s success prompted Three16 Music Group to add another layer to this year’s event by creating prize giveaways at the showcase. The giveaways will include a 6day/7 night stay in Negril, Jamaica from the Travelers Beach resort, Yeroc Glasses which have been worn by Kimora Lee Simmons, Jewelry from Pink Velvet, which has been worn by Rocsi of 106 & Park and Actress Tasha Smith Cavi and TLS clothing.

Three16 Music Group focuses and supports the careers of emerging musicians and created the showcase to provide a forum for industry professionals to network and listen to the talent on their roster. They are continuously evolving as a platform that provides music fans easier access to established, non-mainstream artists and budding artists.

Located in the heart of Union Square at Highline Ballroom, the show is conveniently accessible from anywhere in NYC. Highline Ballroom is located at 431 West 16th Street. This is an 18+ show.
