“With [SuperBad] I’m still hittin’ ‘em from all angles,” explains Boosie. I got the women songs, I got the gangsta songs, I got the love songs; something for everybody. It’s just a classic album.”

Produced by The Runners, Mouse on the Track, Guss, B Real, Big Wayne, BJ, Maniac, Nard & B, the 16-track SUPERBAD: RETURN OF BOOSIE BAD AZZ CD contains the kind of music that is hotter than the infamous Louisiana red hot sauce. In addition to the LP’s stellar production, SuperBad has an impressive list of guest appearances by superstar lyricists and vocalists to compliment BOOSIE’s heart-felt lyrics and mercurial flow.  The list includes the aforementioned Young Jeezy and Webbie along with Trina, Bobby V, Fox, Lil’ Phat and Mouse.

Although BOOSIE is best known nationally for the breakout singles “Wipe Me Down” featuring Webbie and Fox and “Zoom” featuring Young Joc, the truth is that Boosie has been a major star on the Southern underground rap circuit for almost seven years now.

LIL BOOSIE started his career back in the late 1990s when a mutual friend introduced the 15-year old to Baton Rouge’s legendary rapper C-Loc (“How Ya Do Dat Der”). Impressed with Boosie’s magnetic personality and rhyme skills, C-Loc took the teenager under his wing, signing him to his indie label C-Loc Records where he made his first appearance on wax with C-Locs’s It’s a Gamble LP in 2003.  That same year he released his underground debut LP For My Thugz followed by The Youngest of da Camp in 2004. Just as things started looking up for Boosie, due to C-Loc’s incarceration the label suddenly folded leaving the young teen without a mentor to guide him through the vicissitudes of life and the music industry.

But things took a turn for the better when he hooked up with up-start record label Trill Entertainment and they introduced him to the late great Pimp C of the legendary duo UGK.  “I did a couple of songs with Pimp C and got with Trill and everything started taking off,” says Boosie.

From there LIL BOOSIE BAD AZZ released a series of mix tapes and underground albums including the classics Gangsta Muzik and Ghetto Stories that he co-released with label-mate Webbie which enabled him to perform at countless shows throughout the Deep South and earned him a fiercely loyal fan base throughout the South and Mid West. With an abundance of great songs on SUPERBAD, Boosie is poised to take his fan base worldwide.  “There’s not one song on here that you just can’t listen to,” boasts a confident Boosie. “This album is just versatile. This CD is the truth.”

BOOSIE is currently on promo tour with Russ Parr’s Russ Bus, he recently shot the video for “BETTER BELIEVE IT” in Baton Rouge and has a movie coming out later this year – titled: Ghetto Stories the Movie.
